Website terms

Terms of use

Effective September 8, 2026

These terms govern use of the Rivetpoint website. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Informational website

Site content is general information and may change without notice. It is not a promise that a product, feature, game, or service will be released or available on a particular date.

Consultations and projects

Website content and preliminary communications do not create a client relationship. Home-automation consultations or other services begin only after both parties accept a separate written agreement describing scope, fees, responsibilities, and limitations. Initial consultation services are advisory and do not include electrical work, installation, monitoring, or guarantees of third-party device performance.

Intellectual property

The Rivetpoint name, logo, site design, text, game titles, artwork, and other content are owned by Rivetpoint or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view the site for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, or use site content to train a model or create competing materials without written permission, except where law does not permit that restriction.

Third-party products and links

References to third-party devices, platforms, stores, or websites do not imply sponsorship or a guarantee. Third-party products and services are governed by their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and warranties.

No warranties

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Rivetpoint disclaims implied warranties relating to the site, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivetpoint will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use this site. These terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ohio law

These terms are governed by Ohio law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute concerning the site will be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Ohio, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
